Tinplate box, also known as tin-plated iron, is the common name of electroplated tin plate, referred to as spte, which refers to cold-rolled low-carbon plate or strip with commercial pure tin coated on both sides. Tin is mainly used to prevent corrosion and rust. It combines the strength and formability of steel, corrosion resistance, weldability and the aesthetic appearance of tin. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, non-toxic, high strength and good ductility. Due to the characteristics of the tinplate box, good ductility and oxidation resistance, it can be printed on it and is not easy to damage. Can be made into various shapes, easy to transport.

1. Raw materials

Substrate

We use tinplate boxes, frosted iron, galvanized iron, floor iron (commonly known as black iron), and sometimes aluminum. Auxiliary materials include copper wire, nitrogen, full spraying, liquefied gas, tray, cardboard, packaging tape, winding film, etc., commonly used is tinplate box. Usually, we use tinplate with a galvanized layer of 2.8/2.8 and a hardness of 2.5. Commonly used thickness is 0.19-0.35mm. If the thickness exceeds this thickness, it cannot be printed. Frosted iron is also commonly used. Generally speaking, frosted iron is used for products without printing and is not easy to scratch. However, the price of frosted iron will be more expensive. Galvanized iron is generally used as iron drums and other products, not often used. The thickness is typically 0.28mm and 0.30mm. Printing iron is generally used for double-sided printing products

Surface treatment process

There are many surface treatment methods for the iron box, including white magnetic effect (paint the entire tinplate white), white printing (print part of the entire tinplate white, and retain the color of the tinplate elsewhere), varnish (Usually the inside or bottom of the iron box or iron can is not printed), gold oil (usually the inside or bottom of the iron box or iron can is not printed) and other effects, for example, bright light effect, matte effect and matte printing (part of the iron can is matte oil, the other part is matte oil). In addition, there are some special effects, such as rubber oil, pearl oil, explosive oil, orange peel oil, cracked oil, etc. These special effects are more expensive and less used.

Four-color printing:

That is offset printing, that is, from red, yellow, blue, black four basic colors according to different proportions of printing a variety of patterns, such as customers have no special requirements, our quotation for four-color printing price.

Special color printing:

This special printing is not a four-color printing, but a specially adjusted color. General guests will provide a spot color number. When printing, the color should be compared with Pantone books. General printers charge additional printing fees for printing spot colors.

Engraving process:

It is divided into two-dimensional carving (plane carving) and three-dimensional carving (three-dimensional carving). Two-dimensional carving is mainly used for identification and text, and the convex surface of the carving is on the same horizontal line.
